Connecting you to yours
About Ranga
Ranga is a lost-and-found platform powered by AI. It connects people who lose things with the people who find them, and uses smart matching and secure verification to make sure every item goes back to its real owner.
Our mission
Every year, thousands of national IDs, passports, driving licenses and student IDs are lost across Rwanda — at bus parks, markets, universities and offices. Most never make it back to their owners because there was never a safe, trusted way to connect the person who lost it with the person who found it. Ranga exists to close that gap.
Where we’re headed
Ranga launches with identity documents, phones, wallets, keys, bags, electronics and more. Next come tools for organizations (universities, banks, police stations and companies) to run their lost-and-found desks on Ranga. They’re coming soon.
Our promise to you
Together, we can build a beautiful, trustworthy community.
Ranga only works because people choose honesty: finders who hand things back, owners who claim only what’s theirs, and everyone respecting each other’s privacy. Thank you for being part of it.
What we stand for
Trust first
Every workflow — verification, payments, data handling — is designed around protecting people.
Built for Rwanda
Localized to districts and sectors, Kinyarwanda-ready, and designed for how people actually lose and find things here.
Community powered
Finders and owners build a shared trust score — the more the community returns items, the safer everyone becomes.
Relentlessly simple
Reporting something lost takes minutes. Finding a match should feel effortless, not like paperwork.
